Vehicle theft is on the rise nationwide, and also here in Pennsylvania, with criminals employing advanced methods to target high-value vehicles. State Police say many thefts involve key fob signal hacking or organized teams targeting dealerships and private owners. Here in Pennsylvania, data shows clearance rates for car thefts remain below 40%.
